From: moka@elecsun4.elec.uow.edu.au (Mohsen KAHANI) Hi everybody, We bought a virtek 3d-ware software to build our virtual world. I have got a few problem with it and it seems that there is nobody in their support group to read emails. I sent them an email 5 or 6 weeks ago, but no answer. I repeated that one week after, and after another one week, sent an email to sale section, complaining about the support staff. He promised me that I would get my answers within 8 hours. After more than 80 hours, I sent him another email, and he again promised to get somebody answer me by the day after. After more than a week I have got nothing. So I decided to send some of my questions here, maybe somebody could answer them. 1- what is the order of rotation in 3d-ware, eg. x,y,z or y,x,z,... 2- How one can determine what object is under mouse pointer 3- In their advertising, they claim that 3d-ware support sound. I didn't see anything in the manual, but there are some function prototype in header file (tagged incomplete) about Gravis. Does anybody know anything about this as well. At last, I should say, although this is a commercial software, but you can find some public domain software, eg. APRIL with much more capabilities and ease of use.
