I'm planning to make a program allowing several persons to meet in a
virtual 3D place. Each users control a 3D character the appearance of
which he can change, and can perform actions such as running, jumping,
talking...

Has such a program allready been made ?

I think I'll try to work hard on animations and I do not want to spend
too much time on optimizing the display. So I'm looking for an
efficient program to display polyedrons (in C or C++).

Any help will be welcome.
