I'm wondering if anyone knows of days in late to mid-May that are of
significance to the VR community (or the Cyberspace community at
large). I would be interested in anniversaries of famous VR firsts,
notable conferences or conventions, or even birthdays of VR
personalities.

I'm trying to time an event so that it coincides with an important day
in VR history or culture.
