Hi all,

I have seen many VR indexes that have VR related products available.
Atlantis seems to have a very comprehensive list of manufacturers.
What I haven't seen is a page devoted to people that want to work in
VR.  I would propose a web site that would have a listing of
individuals & corporations that will do freelance and contract work
for VR projects.  The site would have "Looking for..." and
"Offering..." areas that would list the various skills and resources
available or needed.  This could be an area where a database of "good
ideas" is held and people looking for ways to solve problems could
find help.  It could also be a way for smaller projects to find people
who would be willing to barter or trade services or products towards a
mutual goal.  Personally I feel that there is alot of talent in the
range of this group that would like to work on some aspect of a
project but don't have anyway of getting on board something they might
be interested in.

I would also like a place to list ideas or projects that have the
potential to make a contribution to the VR community but because of
lack of funding or interest haven't gotten off of the ground.  This
way an organization that had the resources to make one of these ideas
happen would have a place to look and it would be profitable for both
the inventor and the organization.

I may have skimmed over just such a site, so if you know of a site that
meets this criteria, please let me know.  Otherwise please voice your
opinion and if there is enough interest, I would like to persue developing
the site.
