There are a number of companies in the US and Canada offering
pre-converted Pax (Famicom) Powergloves, so its probably worth
contacting one of them, e.g:

Antonio R. Tijerino
Informatica
3805 Bilbao Ct.
Cameron Park, CA 95682
USA

Tel: (916) 676 3530
Fax: (916) 677 6630
Email: antonio@informatica.com

They hack them all the time, so they should be able to help you!

Cheers,
