N-Vision recently finished integrating its Datavisor HMD with a Silicon Graphics Impact belonging to High Techsplanations (a VR company focusing on biomedical applications and technologies) of Rockville, Maryland. The format is true VGA (640x480, 60Hz), so no converters are needed. You can also use N-Vision's 10x display if higher res (1280x1024) is required. You can contact N-Vision directly by emailing sales@nvis.com. --Linda Jacobson Virtual Reality Evangelist for Silicon Graphics 415 933 6398 fax 415 964 8671 http://www.sgi.com (speaking of which, you might want to visit the beautifully illustrated, link-laden article on the CAVE at http://www.sgi.com/ion/winter_96/cave.html, which is "i on Visual Computing," SGI's online magazine).
