The fellowship will be held for at least seven years. You will participate under the joint direction of Professor David Thomas and Professor Richard Beacham, in a long-term research project "reconstructing the theatrical past through multi- media and information technology". Starting salary up to 21,519 pa on the scale 20,677-26,430 pa. You should have completed a doctorate and possess skills in the application of advanced information technology to the exploration and communication of the theatre in history, through the design of virtual models of theatre architecture and stage settings; the creation of interactive databases of texts and images; and the preparation of materials for electronic publication. The post is a research postion with minimal teaching or administrative duties.
