Mirage, a VR toolkit descended from VR386, is now freely available
in both source code and binary format at the site:

  Versions are available for Linux, Sun OS and SGI Irix. Mirage can
view VR386 .WLD files (available at the site) and WorldToolKit .NFF
files. A 3D representation of a power station in .NFF format is 
included in the demo.

  Mirage uses exclusively X Windows functions for rendering and is 
therefore very portable. A Tcl/Tk user interface was also added to
the old VR386 code.
